OpenEye perpetual software licenses are site-based. That is, they are intended for installation and use by scientists at a specified research location. Installation at one site for use by researchers at other sites is considered multiple sites and will be charged appropriately.

At a licensed research site, OpenEye software licenses allow unlimited usage including unlimited users. The one slight exception is our graphical interface, VIDA, which may be purchased for unlimited users or for a restricted number of seats. For the later, the base price of VIDA allows up to six users, and additional seats can be purchased for a minimal fee. That is, most modeling groups will have all the VIDA they need with the base package, but those companies that want every chemist to use VIDA will need to pay a little extra.
