By default, all OpenEye applications are installed in a single tree, with the
latest version of each app installed in openeye/bin but to allow a
single installation tree on and NFS server, the binary in the main
openeye/bin directory is a sym-link to an actual executable under the
openeye/arch directory.
Additionally, to run EON under PVM, the eon program needs to be
installed on every machine that will be part of the PVM network in the
directory $PVM_ROOT/bin/$PVM_ARCH or in a user's home directory
under $HOME/pvm3/bin/$PVM_ARCH. Placing a symbolic link to the
eon program in either of these locations is also acceptable.
