2.1 Microsoft Windows

A simple installation wizard is provided for Microsoft Windows. Double-clicking on the file (e.g. vida-3.0.0-microsoft-win32-i686-setup.exe) will start the wizard which will direct the installation process. It is recommended that the installer to be allowed to install VIDA 3.0 in the C:$\backslash$OpenEye directory if possible. Once the installation process is complete, there will be a VIDA icon on the desktop as well as in the start menu.

To uninstall VIDA, simply click on the Uninstall VIDA icon in the C:$\backslash$OpenEye directory or in the start menu in the OpenEye/VIDA group. VIDA can also be uninstalled using the Add/Remove Programs option in the Control Panel.
