A simple installation wizard is provided for Microsoft Windows. Double-clicking
on the file (e.g. vida2_1 -microsoft-win32-i686-setup.exe) will start the
wizard which will direct the installation process. It is recommended that the
installer to be allowed to install VIDA 2.1.2 in the
C:
OpenEye directory if possible. Once the installation process is
complete, there will be a VIDA2 icon on the desktop as well as in the
start menu.
To uninstall VIDA, simply click on the Uninstall VIDA2 icon in the
C:OpenEye directory or in the start menu in the
OpenEyeVIDA2 group. VIDA can also be uninstalled using
the Add/Remove Programs option in the Control Panel.
