Clicking on any of the column headers will sort the Spreadsheet according to the data values in that column. If the data in the column to be sorted has both numeric and non-numeric data, each set (numeric vs. non-numeric) will be sorted independently and then concatenated together. Columns that contain completely numeric data will additionally be colored from white (smallest value) to red (largest value).
When sorting a dataset for the first time, each compound may have to be retrieved from the molecule database and queried for the columns data. For large datasets, this can take considerable time. For this reason, spreadsheet sorting can be aborted by pressing the stop button by the progress bar.
