5.9.3 Transparency

The next section on the Surface page of the Style Window is the Transparency section which contains a single slider and a numeric display of that slider's value. The slider controls the transparency of the surfaces in the current scope. Setting the slider all the way to the right (value of 100) ensures that the surface is completely opaque. Setting the slider all the way to the left (value of 0) ensures that the surface is completely invisible. An example of a transparent surface can be seen in Figure 5.18.
