6. 2D Display

Two dimensional molecular depictions are provided using OpenEye's Ogham toolkit. The 2D depictions are currently drawn using a black and white coloring scheme; however, more coloring schemes will be available in future releases.

For large molecules (>255 atoms in this case), no depictions are displayed as the 2D depictions would be too complicated to provide any useful information. However, for proteins an amino acid sequence view is displayed instead of the 2D depiction (see Figure 6.2).
