Third Party Software
The world of molecular modelling is very broad, and there are numerous areas of application that we may never get around to addressing. OpenEye encourages other commercial software developers to license our technology to build their own products.
Software
The following software products have been built on top of our software and toolkits:
- Chemical Structure Display component of SIMCA-P (Multivariate Data Analysis) using our Ogham TK was developed by Umetrics.
- Chemical Structures plugin to Miner3D Data Visualizer using our Ogham TK was developed by Dimension 5, Ltd.
- SureChem (patent search tool) using our Lexichem TK was developed by ReelTwo, Inc.
- Fingerprint Module using our OEChem TK was developed by Mesa Analytics & Computing, Inc.
- SAESAR using our Shape TK was developed by Mesa Analytics & Computing, Inc.
- ZAP! (Sybyl interface) to our Zap TK was developed by EduSoft, LC.
Databases
The following database products have been built on top of our software and toolkits:
- PubChem, an array of structure and activity information for a diverse set of small molecules, created by the NCBI uses a number of our toolkits extensively, including OEChem TK, Ogham TK, Lexichem TK and Quacpac TK.
- The Protein Data Bank (PDB) ligand dictionary, provided by the RCSB, maintained and depicted using the OEChem TK and Ogham TK, respectively.
- ZINC, a free database of commercially-available compounds suitable for virtual screening developed by the Shoichet Laboratory, curated using FILTER, OEChem TK, OMEGA and QUACPAC, and is displayed using Ogham TK.
- RPBS's small molecule databases, commercially-available compounds prepared for 3D virtual screening, curated using FILTER and OMEGA.
- ChemSpider.com, the online chemistry database and property prediction service, was developed by ChemZoo, Inc. using our OEChem TK, Lexichem TK and Ogham TK, as well as FILTER and QUACPAC.
