The 2026.1 release introduces key advancements across conformer generation, generative molecule design, and peptide modeling workflows.
- Generate conformers faster: OMEGA is now 2-3X faster and offers the same quality output, reducing both run time and compute cost. OMEGA's torsion driving algorithm has been enhanced with Bayesian bandit approach with Thompson sampling that intelligently focuses conformer generation on low-energy structures. Already the industry leader in conformers generation, OMEGA now delivers even greater speed without sacrificing quality.
- Perform multiquery replacement: Bioisostere TK can now replace both single and multiple query fragments in a molecule. The multiquery replacement enables you to build generative de novo molecule design applications using OpenEye's trusted 3D science.
- Setup peptide workflow: OEChem TK now supports conversion between molecular structures and HELM representations. In addition, support for custom monomer dictionaries enables seamless use of your proprietary nonstandard amino acids in peptide discovery workflows.
