The world of drug discovery and cheminformatics is very broad. We know that there are numerous areas of application that we will never address either because it doesn't fit within our core vision (e.g. electronic lab notebooks) or we just don't have the time right now.

With that in mind, OpenEye happily encourages other commercial software developers to license our technology to build their own products. OpenEye technology is already widely used by many leading vendors in their product offerings and has also been used in the creation of some of the most important public databases in our field as well.

OpenEye software can easily be integrated with almost any system. All of our toolkits are available for use in .NET, C++, Java, and Python. Many of our integrators take advantage of our industry-proven cheminformatics infrastructure to provide file format conversion, 2D molecular images, report generation, IUPAC naming (both name-to-structure and structure-to-name) and foreign language chemical name translation.
